Make it Modern! Giveaway!


I love Lotta Jansdotter Fabrics... I made this picnic set, and I'm happy I get to finally share it with you! THese fabrics are all Bella By Lotta Jansdotter for Windham. The issue has many fun projects inside, a special issue from APQ... Run, find a copy!

  5. Oh lindaroo, you won't be disappointed I got my first pair last year and I have been in love with them for the months since.

    Like Pip, I have everything I want or need this year so my list is for others to get what they need to make their lives more bearable. There are those among us who lack even the basics and it is for them I wish. I have way too much already.

  12. A new sewing machine. Found out yesterday our local miracle man can't fix it. They can send it to the manufacturer but there is no guarantee that would work either. Sigh, at least I have a back up!

  18. I'm not asking or wishing for anything this year. There are too many people in my county that have nothing, and I'm thinking of spending my Christmas at the soup kitchen volunteering to help feed the homeless.

  21. Well one thing on my list is an iron, I went through 3 (pretty old ones) this year. However I am not sure I want someone to get one for me so it might be on my list for a while. :)

  36. My first thought when only the top of the photo appeared was, How did she get the 3-D effect in the circles? Then of course, I scrolled down and saw they were hanging lamps. :-) The only quilty thing on my list would be gift certificates--I don't like others to pick out for me.

  40. My son and dil asked me what I want for Christmas this year and I said ~ time with the two of you! It's the most precious thing for me. I love being with them, they make me laugh and we always have such a lovely time together whatever we do!

  74. There are several quilt books I did not buy in Houston this year and decided to put on my list. And one of those little needle loading-thingies that you store threaded needles in and it winds them into a little plastic case. About to start hand quilting 2 quilts. My hand quilting class in Houston with Esther Miller was fantastic.
